4D Ultrasound

What a miracle it is to see what your precious baby looks like while she is still inside of you, growing and getting stronger and stronger each day. Jeremy and I went and had a 4-D ultrasound done on Saturday. It was such an amazing experience, we enjoyed it so very much!! I just could not believe how beautiful she was. She has the most precious button little nose, big pouty lips, and the chubbiest cheeks ever!! Check out our precious little miracle!!

Favorites!!

I just wanted to share with everyone some of my favorite baby gifts that I have received so far. I have totally appreciated every gift that we have received, but some of these gifts are just so fun that I have to share and give credit where credit is deserved. I think I enjoy these gifts because they are so creative, and I love fun and creativity!!

This is a baby wreath the my good friend Lauren Roe made for my baby shower. I just love this wreath, its such a wonderful idea, and so creative and special!! I have it hanging in the nursery right now, and I am not sure if I ever want to take it apart! Thanks Lauren, your the best!!

These little bloomers are so precious and are just so darn cute. My sister-in-law Rhonda had them made for us. I just love them and cannot wait to have Reagan's picture made in them. thanks Rhonda!!

This sweet blanket and little pig and piglet were made for Reagan by a friend of mine from work, Carmen has a gift with some yard and a crochet needle. Thanks Carmen!! Maggie (our golden retriever) keeps eyeing the pig and piglet, I think that she thinks they are for her:-))

This is the most special gift I have received so far. My mom made this quilt and changing pad for Reagan. Its so special and something we will keep forever. I am sure Reagan will love it and cherish it as much as I do!! Thanks mom!!

Baby Shower Fun

We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives, friends and family alike. We have had 2 baby showers already, and people have been so giving and so wonderful. Jeremy and I are so totally blessed to have such special people in our lives. We had a baby shower in Tennessee on September 6th, Joyce (Jeremy's mom) and Rhonda and Abby (My sister-in-law and niece) hosted that shower. Here are some pictures from the shower in Tennessee:

Yummy cake that Joyce made, so so good.

This is a picture of Jeremy and Abby, she enjoyed the shower, but was a little confused about the whole shower concept. The whole time at the shower, she kept asking when we were going to the shower, I can only imagine what she had in mind:-)

Jeremy and I opening gifts, I think Jeremy enjoyed opening all of the fun baby things as much as I did!!

Then some friends from work hosted another shower on October 4th. We had a great time. Here are some pictures from the shower the girls from work threw for me.

Yummy shower food

Loved the cake so much. It was perfect, and I was a white cake with lemon filling, my all time favorite cake!! It even had edible sparkles all over it, perfect!!

Presents!!

Fun work friends!!

Thanks to everyone who attended either of the showers, you all are so special and Jeremy and I thank you so much for your support and love!!

Pretty Pink Room

We have finally finished the painting of the nursery. Of course, there is not other furniture in there right now, a little bit at a time. The room is painted the prettiest bright watermelon pink, and I mean pink. I absolutely love it though. Its so fun and bright and so so girly, its PERFECT. I just go in there several times a day and just stand and enjoy the pink. I hope that Reagan Avery likes pink :-))

Belly Pics

Ok, so here they are for those of you who want to see my growing belly. I am kind of embarrassed about posting these pictures, but I guess this is all part of the experience. I literally feel like she is growing more and more each week and I am getting bigger and bigger each week!! Jeremy loves my growing belly, he thinks its really cute. Me, on the other hand, I am still not to sure about it. Some days its neat to look down and see my growing belly, other days I can't believe how big its gotten already and can't imagine it growing any bigger. But, it really is neat to think and realize what a blessing it is to be pregnant and how truly it is a miracle from God.

Reagan Avery Walden

Oh, how sweet. Don't you just love her name. It is not set in stone completely yet, but most likely, this will be her name. Reagan Avery Walden. Our little precious baby Reagan. That is what we have been calling her since we decided on her name. Alot of our friends call her baby Reagan now also. I have always loved the name Reagan. I never knew anyone named Reagan, but I have always thought it was a special and classy name that you do not hear too often. The story about how we came up with her name is this: We were at our bible study one night. We were all sitting around and the subject came up about what to name Baby Reagan. Our lifehouse leader, Jeff Black, got out his computer and started looking up different names. I had told them that I liked the name Reagan from the beginning. He named probably 300 names that night. At one point, he said the name Avery. I stopped and thought about it and thought that was really pretty. Then another friend of ours, Michael Downey said "How about Avery Reagan." I thought about it for a moment and then said, "How about Reagan Avery?" And the rest is history. As soon as the name came out of my mouth, it just seemed right.

Its a Girl

Its official, baby Walden is a girl. We are so excited. We actually have known for a while now, but I though I would post this sonogram picture that proves that she is a little girl. We have now had three sonograms that have shown that she is a little girl, so I finally believe it!! It is really hard to tell what exactly you are looking at in the picture, but I was assured on several occassions that that is what a girl looks like :-))

Sonogram pictures

Here are some of my favorite sonogram pictures. I just love the profile shots. At first, the sonogram pictures did not quite look like a baby. Our first sonogram picture looked like a snowman, the second, Jeremy thought the baby looked like Casper the ghost. Finally, these sonogram pictures look like a beautiful gift from God. They are just precious. I look at the sonogram pictures often and cannot believe how fast a baby grows. These sonogram pics were taken at 17 and 19 weeks.

We are having a baby!!

I am sure most of you know, but just in case, Jeremy and I are expecting our first baby on December 13th, 2008. We are so so excited about being pregnant and becoming parents, but also a little nervous. It is not going to be easy trying to raise a child so far away from our families, but hopefully with God's strength, we will survive. I will post some sonogram pictures soon.

Maggie

Here is a picture of our sweet puppy Maggie. She is a handful, but she brings alot of joy into our lives. She is very quirky and funny, and crazy at times. We just love her to death:-))

First Post

Welcome to the Walden blog. I didnt ever think I would be a blogger, but i have some friends that do the "blog" thing, and I thought it would be a good way to let everyone know what is going on with us, especially since I dont get to talk to many people all that often. So, here it goes, check back soon, I may get the hang of this and become a seasoned blogger someday:-))
