Sleepin with Daddy

Aren't they sweet together, daddy and his girl. Jeremy and I both love to snuggle with Reagan on the couch, she is just so snugglly and sweet these days. She loves to lay on the couch with mommy and daddy and take a nap. Its one of those times you just have to savor and take in, because she won't be little like that for long. Speaking of growing, Reagan gets bigger and bigger each day. I just can't believe how fast she grows. I have things in her closet that last week looked huge on her and this week they are fitting perfectly, next week they will be too small!! I have so many clothes and I just know that she will NEVER wear half of them, so sad, I guess I will have to dress her up for her naps or something:-)))

 

My Sweet Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day!!! My sweet little Valentine was so cute in her Valentine's Day dress that she wore to church yesterday. We had a good Valentine's Day, pretty different than years past. but still good. Jeremy, Reagan and I headed to Frisco for the day, full of shopping and stuffing ourselves with Fudrucker's yummy burgers and onion rings. Reagan did pretty well at first, but then, toward the end of our trip, she let us know that she was ready to GO HOME, NOW!!!! And that was the end of our Valentines Day fun!! So we headed home with an extremely fussy baby, which continued for the rest of the night. At one point, Jeremy looked over and me and said " Happy Valentines Day" and we just laughed, oh how our lives have changed.

So, Valentines Day this year was different, but still good, but different. But how I am thankful for all of the "different" in my life now. I am so thankful for our precious little girl, that she is healthy and growing each day, that she smiles at me and laughs and is so darn cute that I can't stand it. I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who is such a blessing in my life, who slept on the couch all weekend with the baby monitor and did night feeding duty so I could get a good nights rest two nights straight (thanks honey!!), who looks at out daughter with such love and amazement in his eyes that it melts my heart, and who still looks at me with such love that I thank god over and over for such a wonderful husband who loves me just the way I am.

So, for the most part, Valentines Day was good, but different, but still good, thank goodness for all of the different in our lives that makes things interesting and good and different!! Happy Valentines Day to the two greatest loves of my life, I am truly thankful for each of you!!

 

Big Girl

I love these pictures of our girl, she looks like such a big girl sitting in her chair. She is so cute I can't stand it!! Reagan is doing great, she is smiling now, big toothless grins, she smiles at her momma and daddy all of the time. She is such a joy, and becoming so much fun.

8 weeks old

8 weeks old, my goodness, how time flies. My girl is getting bigger and bigger and prettier and prettier each day!! People keep telling me that they stay little like this for only a short time, so I have vowed to try to take it all in, each day, and never wish to be at a different stage or time, to love her to the fullest of my abilities each day, good or bad, and to thank god for her excessively!! To cherish all the little things, and all the precious moments that we share, and never take for granted the gift that God has blessed us with!!

 

Bathtime Fun

 

We love bath time, all of us love bath time!! Reagan, Mommy and Daddy all love bath time. Reagan loves bath time because she loves the warmness of the water, she loves looking around while daddy holds her in her bathtub. She is always so funny when we first put her in her tub, she gets a look of shock on her face, shock of the warmness of the water, who knows, but then, just as fast as the shocking face comes, its replaced with a look of pure bliss, seriously!! She is just so precious and we are so thankful that she enjoys her bath time. Jeremy and I enjoy it because we love to see her so content and happy!! We wash her face, and her hands, and feet, cute little legs and big chubby belly, and Reagan just revels in all of the attention. She is definitely like her momma, she loves the warm water. If anyone knows me well, they know that I love to take HOT showers, and I mean HOT, like Jeremy can hardly stand how warm I like the water to be, I think our little water baby will be just like her momma in that respect, the warmer the better :-))
