Happy Halloween!!!

Reagan got her first taste of the joys of trick or treating tonight!!! She was the cutest little pirate ever!!! I was not sure how she would do going up to stranger's houses and getting candy, but she did really great. She obviously had no clue what was going on, but she sure did love filling her bag full of goodies.

Jeremy took her up to most of the houses so I could take pictures. He said that every time someone would answer the door, Reagan would freeze and just stare at the person. All she knew to do was to get candy and turn around and leave. She would say thank you, grab her candy (which she was not shy about) and book it to the next house!!! She was really cute and funny, and totally worn out by the time we got home;-)

Here are some pictures of our Pirate Princess!!!

Pumpkin Punkin

We took Reagan to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch with some friends!!! I LOVE pumpkin patches, I love pumpkins, and I love dressing my baby up and taking her to the pumpkin patch!!! Reagan had a blast, and Jeremy and I had fun watching her enjoy herself. Her favorite thing at the pumpkin patch was all the little Reagan sized pumpkins (and a gourd or two). She went around and picked up a million Reagan sized pumpkins and carried them around.

We made our way over to the larger pumpkins, and Reagan tried to pick up a few of those also, to no avail!!! So she settled on riding along in her wagon with her daddy pulling her along!!

We sat sweetly on some hay and had our picture taken:))

We sat on a tractor and looked at some animals!!

All in all, it was a fabulous fall day in Texas, not all we need is some FALL WEATHER!!!

SEC FUN!!!

What: SEC Showdown UT vs. Florida and LSU vs. Mississippi State

Where: Fun times at the L House!!

Who: Lots of fun SEC friends and families and future SEC fans!

Why: Why Not??? Football, Food and Fun, Doesn't get much better than that!!

We recently got together with some other SEC fans/friends for a tailgate party!!! Tennessee played the dreaded Gators and LSU played Mississippi State. I talked Jeremy into going, his one prerequisite was that he got a front row seat for the Tennessee game, which he was much obliged!!

Reagan was dressed in some Tennessee cuteness and had a great time playing with her fellow future SEC football fan friends!!!

The food was great, the desserts even better!!! Check out these cookies, how fabulous!! Thanks AA!!

It was a fun night, full of friends, football, food, frolicking toddlers dressed in their SEC best, and lots and lots of FUN!!!

The Tennessee game, on the other hand, was not full of FUN.....

Here is how Reagan feels about how her Vols did against those silly Gators!!

"EWWW!!! Not good Vols, Not good!!!"

"Oh no, Vols, Daddy is going to be so upset about this one!!"

21 (ish) Months

I have been so so bad about keeping up with Reagan and how she is changing, she is getting so so big and so much fun!!! Here are a few new things (or alot of things) that Reagan is doing these days....

-Reagan weighs about 23 pounds (she is a big one I tell ya) and is in about the 15-20th percentile for her weight. She is in size 4 diapers and wears size 18-24 month clothes.

-Reagan is a DANCING QUEEN. She loves to dance, and will dance anywhere, anytime. Anytime a song comes on, the girl is getting down!!!! She dances in the van, she dances at church, at school, but her favorite place to dance is in the livingroom.

-Reagan is talking more and more each day!!! She is super cute and I love to watch her grow and change!!! Some of my favorite things she says are: sorry (as she pats my face) anytime she does anything that she feels was not very nice; dance (which sounds mostly like dance, but not exactly, but with her dancing motions, is a sure sign that is what she wants to do!; Lets go, which is more like (eh go), along with grabbing my hand and taking me wherever it is that she wants to go; Nannie (which is her version of Annie), which is her favorite puppy whom she loves dearly; Mommy, of course is one of my favoites, especially when I hear her yelling Mommy Mommy from the living room when she hears me come home from work; Papaw, which she calls all olderly men that she sees, which is pretty darn cute; scary (very dramatic like, eyes wide like she is terrified) when she is watching THe Little Mermaid. Note: I do not make her watch the little mermaid even though she thinks its "scary", she insists on watching it while repeatedly saying "its scary, its scary." Another recent favorite is "I'm stuck", and she says it ALL the time, especially when she is in her carseat, its constantly "Im stuck, Im stuck!" There are many many more, but these are a few of my favorites at the moment!!!

-Reagan is very strong willed and independent and did I mention strong willed. My oh my do I have my hands full with this one!!! Thank God she is so stinkin cute!!!! He knows what he is doing:-) At that moment, Reagan is pushing me as far as she can, and then sometimes farther. Strong willed, did I mention that yet, yeah, thats our girl!!! Reagan's also in a stage where she throws temper tantrums. I am trying my best to make it through this stage. Reagan also bangs her head on the floor at times when she wants me to know she is frustrated or mad, and I have been told, I do not really believe it, but I have been told that I did the same thing when I was her age!!! I am totally starting to read parenting books and am registered for a parenting class because I am LOST right now as to how to deal with this strong willed child of mine:-)))))))

-Reagan is loving her movies these days, and her favorites are anything with puppies or animals in them (101 Dalmatians, Fox and the Hound, Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book); she is also a HUGE Buzz Lightyear fan. I bought her a Buzz Lightyear stuffed action figure, he is pretty much as big as she is, if not bigger, and she LOVES him!!! She takes him for walks, she feeds him, she puts diapers on him, she puts him to bed. Buzz comes everywhere with us, he has his own seat and seatbelt right next to her, and he even sleeps with her!!! Its pretty cute!!

-Reagan is one tough little cookie!!! This girl can tumble off the couch face first and not even bat an eye!!! Good thing she is so tough, because she also likes to climb on everything, and occassionally falls off things!!!! She also loves to take off running without paying attention to where she is, and at least two times a day she smacks right into a wall or some piece of furniture:-)

-Reagan has the best facial expressions, you can totally read her every mood based on her face!!! Her sweet face totally lights up with a smile when she is happy, when she laughs, her whole face and body laugh, when she is mad, watch out, she will not hesitate to give you a dirty look:-)When she is suprised, her face screams it, when she is sad, she sticks that bottom lip out and you know she is sad. When she is scared, her eyes are as wide as they can be!! She can't hide her emotions, because they are written all over her face!!!

-I am so enjoying where we are right now, and so enjoying our sweet baby girl who is not so much a baby anymore!!! Sometimes I do not feel that I am going to make it one more day, and then that girl flashes me a light up my world smile, and I am putty in her hands, and so thankful for everything, the good and the bad, the easy and the hard, the fun and the not so fun!!! I will enjoy each day knowing that someday, I am going to miss this!!!!

BUBBLES

Bubbles, we love bubbles!! Reagan loves bubbles, but she especially likes to try to blow bubbles, which is quite entertaining from my point of view!!!!! It is really really cute to watch a baby try to learn how to blow their first bubbles. I have enjoyed watching Reagan this summer try and try and try to blow her own bubbles, because she is SOOO independent and does not want ANY help. I think half the time, she ends up eating soap, but she does not seem to mind. I caught some of the fun on camera, and thought I would share!!! Your welcome, its quite enjoyable!!!

Spilled Milk

Whoever said not to cry over spilled milk was clearly not the mother of a toddler...

(Yes, that is a puddle of spilled milk, and yes, that is in my van)

Lovely......

Shuh Buh

Reagan has started to do something pretty funny that we just figured out. Reagan has never been one to repeat much of anything, she will talk when she is ready and wanting to. I always try to get her to repeat things, but she just is not really into it. Recently, I will ask her to repeat something, and sometimes she will repeat what I say, and other times, she says something that is SO FAR OFF from what I said that I started to get scared that she was not hearing well. The other night, Jeremy and I figured out that if she knows the word that you are asking her to repeat, she will say it, clear as day, but if she does not know the word that you want her to repeat, she will say "shuh buh." No clue what it means, but its consistent each time I try to get her to say something new.

Here is our conversation:

Me: Reagan, say Annie
Reagan: Nannie (huge smile)
Me: Reagan, say Mommy
Reagan: Mommy
Me: Reagan, say Audrey
Reagan: Audee
Me: Reagan, say pasta
Reagan: Shuh Buh
Me: What??????
Me: Reagan, say pasta (PAAASSSTTTAAA) (you know, very exaggerated like so she understands;-)
Reagan: Shuh Buh
Me: Hmmm, Really, No clue, Ok
Me: Reagan, say Daddy
Reagan: Daddy
Me: Reagan, say Papaw
Reagan: Papaw
Me: Reagan, say Juice
Reagan: Duice
Me: Reagan, say spagetti
Reagan: Shuh buh (hmmmm)
Me: Reagan, say ice cream (which I know she does not know)
Reagan: Shuh Buh (interesting.....)
Me: Reagan, say Buzz
Reagan: Buzz (another huge smile)
Me: Reagan, say hot dog (another one I know she doesn't know)
Reagan: Shuh Buh (clearly this means something)
Me: Reagan, say PAAAASSSTTAA
Reagan: SSSHHUUBB BBUUH (Gosh mom, your so annoying!!!!!
