8 Months Old

So, Reagan Avery, what are you doing now that you are 8 months old...

1. Well for one, you are the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on, you have the most beautiful blue eyes, your hair is getting blonder and blonder each day (and there is more and more of it!!), and I could just stare at you all day every day for the rest of my life and never get tired of your precious face.

2. You are on the move these days, I thought my days were busy before, but now, now that you are crawling and pulling up on everything, you keep momma on her toes. You are absolutely into EVERYTHING!!

3. As I said before, you are crawling now, you have been for several weeks now, and your sweet little way you get around is too funny!!

4. You are still not sleeping through the night, and you really do not like to sleep at all. Mommy and Daddy are very tired, so we are working on the sleep thing. We have started some sleep training this week, I will post about that later, but its going well.

5. You are now in size 3 diapers, they are of course big on you, but they fit much better than the size 2.

6. You got your first boo boo's this week. You fell backwards while getting your diaper changed and hit your head on your diaper caddy. Your poor little head was bleeding, just a scratch, but I still felt terrible. You got your first bruise this week also, you got beat up at church by another little girl who threw a block at you and hit you right in the head, poor baby!! Injuries do not seem to phase you much, you cry for a minute, and want to be comforted, but then you forget about it and go on your merry way!!

7. You still love to get your baths, you now sit up in your tub and play. You splash and splash and have a grand old time. Usually, mommy looks like she was in the bath too by the time you are done:-))

8. You love going to school, and have made a good friend at school. You and Audrey Kate are best buds. You get frustrated at Audrey Kate sometimes when she gets up and walks away from you when you are playing, but you keep up better now that you can crawl around.

9. You are learning about your world and love to take it all in. You put everything in your mouth, everything. You love to find maggie's bone and try to put it in your mouth, which makes momma cringe, its disgusting.

10. You love to watch Maggie and you try to chase Mags around constantly, while Maggie tries to get as far away from you as she can.

11. You are a mommas girl through and through. You can't get enough of you momma, which makes me very happy!!

12. You are loving your food, and your favorite food is carrots, I try to feed you all kinds of other things, but carrots remain your favorite hands down.

13. You now have your two bottom teeth.

13. You are a water baby and love to play in the water, especially in the pool. Daddy loves to take you to the pool, you all have so much fun swimming and splashing in the water. You look so cute in your little pink bathing suit!

14. You are loved more than you will ever know, and your daddy and I are so blessed to have you in our lives.
