Newborn Pictures

I had pictures taken of Reagan when she was born, actually she was about 3 weeks old. I finally got my album, at no fault to the photographer, totally my fault, I couldn't decide what pictures I wanted because they were all so precious. We had the pictures taken by Erin of Erin Renee Photography. She does such a wonderful job, and is so so much fun to work with. She comes to your house and uses your house as the back drop for your pictures. She is so talented and does an awesome job. The pictures really reflect you and your personality, and that is one of the things that i like best about her and her style. We will definitely be using her to take LOTS of pictures of our precious girl, you can NEVER have too many pictures, especially when babies change so much so quickly. Updates

So, I have been terrible about blogging, I just can't seem to get my act together. It could have something to do with the fact that I am now a part stay at home mom and part working momma!! I have to admit, the working momma thing is harder than I had expected. Its so hard to leave Reagan, I just can't explain the feeling, but I sometimes feel really guilty, like I am abandoning her or something. I know its not true, but you can't help how you feel sometimes. Anyways, I am only working two days a week, so that is a HUGE blessing, and the only way I get through the weeks. Actually, I think that me working will be good for both Reagan and I eventually, and I can't lie that being at work and seeing friends and actually using my brain some hasn't felt good, but leaving my precious girl hasn't gotten any easier yet, but this too shall pass eventually, right??

So, Reagan is getting so big, and so sweet and fun. We finally got her reflux issues under control, yeah for Prevacid, and now we have our happy baby back. Reagan is starting to talk, and how I love to hear that precious little voice. We have conversations sometimes, I think she is starting to get the idea of how to have a conversation, she will talk and then she will look at me and wait for me to respond, then she will laugh like "I can't believe mommy actually understood what I said, she is so cool," its pretty funny!!

Reagan is also rolling over now, from her belly to her back, and working on rolling from her back to her belly, she gets about half way and gets stuck, but its defiantly coming soon!!

She also LOVES to play in her baby einstein activity gym, she kicks and screams and talk and grabs on to the toys, its so funny to watch. She also LOVES to look at herself in the mirror, I caught her the other day in her gym looking into the mirror and smiling and laughing at herself, funny girl!!

Reagan went to daycare on St. Patty's Day, my mom made her an outfit and she wore it to daycare, she looked so stinkin cute in her green polka dotted pants and onsie. She didn't make it home in her cute outfit though, she had a little accident and they had to change her clothes, I am not sure how long she actually wore it, but she sure did look cute in it!!

Happy 3 Months

 

Sweet girl, three months old, my you are pretty and getting so big!! I want to remember this time, fleeting as it is, so here is a list of all of the sweet and precious things that you do that make my heart pitter patter and explode with love!!

* I love the way you snuggle up to me, how you nuzzle your face in the crook of my neck, like you want to get as close as you possibly can

* I love the way you smack your lips together when I am about to feed you, you get so excited at the prospect of food, its way too cute!!

* I love your pretty face and your chubby cheeks, and when you smile, how your pretty blue eyes light up my world!!

* I love how you are starting to want to snuggle with your blankie now, how you rub it on your face and put it over your face, even though sometimes I am afraid that you may suffocate yourself

* I love how you smell (most of the time :-)) That baby smell that I am sure will bring back so many memories some day!

* I love when you fall asleep on my chest, you are so cuddly and snuggly and I want you to be little forever.

* I love how you chuckle and giggle when I smile at you, like I am the funniest person on this planet!

* I love how you play in your activity gym, how you kick and bat at your toys, and how you lay there and smile at yourself in your mirror.

* I love how you sleep, sprawled out with your ams wide open to the side.

* I love how you love to take a bath, that you enjoy bathtime so much, its such a fun time for us!

* I love how you suck on your hands (loudly), trying so hard to find that thumb!!

* I love how you think that your baby einstein videos are the coolest, and how you watch intently as if there was nothing more important in the world!

* I love how you love music, and calm down immediately when you hear it, I love it more that you seem to have taken a liking to country, or maybe that is perhaps because that is all that you hear, who knows!!

* I love you even when you are crying, and fussy and just mad at the world, I love you no matter what!!

I love you precious girl, you have totally rocked my world in the last three months, and my world will never be the same, and I am so thankful.

Sleepin with Daddy

Aren't they sweet together, daddy and his girl. Jeremy and I both love to snuggle with Reagan on the couch, she is just so snugglly and sweet these days. She loves to lay on the couch with mommy and daddy and take a nap. Its one of those times you just have to savor and take in, because she won't be little like that for long. Speaking of growing, Reagan gets bigger and bigger each day. I just can't believe how fast she grows. I have things in her closet that last week looked huge on her and this week they are fitting perfectly, next week they will be too small!! I have so many clothes and I just know that she will NEVER wear half of them, so sad, I guess I will have to dress her up for her naps or something:-)))

 

My Sweet Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day!!! My sweet little Valentine was so cute in her Valentine's Day dress that she wore to church yesterday. We had a good Valentine's Day, pretty different than years past. but still good. Jeremy, Reagan and I headed to Frisco for the day, full of shopping and stuffing ourselves with Fudrucker's yummy burgers and onion rings. Reagan did pretty well at first, but then, toward the end of our trip, she let us know that she was ready to GO HOME, NOW!!!! And that was the end of our Valentines Day fun!! So we headed home with an extremely fussy baby, which continued for the rest of the night. At one point, Jeremy looked over and me and said " Happy Valentines Day" and we just laughed, oh how our lives have changed.

So, Valentines Day this year was different, but still good, but different. But how I am thankful for all of the "different" in my life now. I am so thankful for our precious little girl, that she is healthy and growing each day, that she smiles at me and laughs and is so darn cute that I can't stand it. I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who is such a blessing in my life, who slept on the couch all weekend with the baby monitor and did night feeding duty so I could get a good nights rest two nights straight (thanks honey!!), who looks at out daughter with such love and amazement in his eyes that it melts my heart, and who still looks at me with such love that I thank god over and over for such a wonderful husband who loves me just the way I am.

So, for the most part, Valentines Day was good, but different, but still good, thank goodness for all of the different in our lives that makes things interesting and good and different!! Happy Valentines Day to the two greatest loves of my life, I am truly thankful for each of you!!

 

Big Girl

I love these pictures of our girl, she looks like such a big girl sitting in her chair. She is so cute I can't stand it!! Reagan is doing great, she is smiling now, big toothless grins, she smiles at her momma and daddy all of the time. She is such a joy, and becoming so much fun.

8 weeks old

8 weeks old, my goodness, how time flies. My girl is getting bigger and bigger and prettier and prettier each day!! People keep telling me that they stay little like this for only a short time, so I have vowed to try to take it all in, each day, and never wish to be at a different stage or time, to love her to the fullest of my abilities each day, good or bad, and to thank god for her excessively!! To cherish all the little things, and all the precious moments that we share, and never take for granted the gift that God has blessed us with!!
